Place from where the Antichrist will come

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad , is His slave and messenger.

It was narrated that the Prophet , mentioned that the Antichrist will appear in a land in the east called Khorasan. It is located in Iran. [At-Tirmithi] In another Hadeeth on the authority of Anas the Prophet , said that the Antichrist will emerge from Yahoodiyyah in Isfahan and that seventy thousand Jews would be with him. [Ahmad]

There is no contradiction between the two aforementioned narrations because Khorasan is a large region which includes many towns and Isfahan is one of them. Ibn Katheer reconciled the two narrations, saying that the Antichrist will first appear in Isfahan in a district called Yahoodiyyah. His emergence is one of the Major Signs of the Hour and is a grave tribulation. We invoke Allaah The Almighty to grant us safety and wellbeing.
